MARKET ALERTS
What the alert engine watches
Every index option snapshot the system ingests is screened automatically:
- PCR ≤ 0.65 — put-heavy positioning (hedging spike, potential support zone)
- PCR ≥ 1.30 — call-heavy positioning (complacency, potential resistance zone)
- Regime / bias changes — the strategy engine switched its market view
Alerts are deduplicated to one row per rule per day and logged automatically.
How to read this page
The Alerts page is the site's early-warning strip. Instead of making you watch indicators all day, the system screens every options and strategy snapshot it ingests and flags the moments that classic option market studies care about.
PCR is the put-call ratio of open interest. When the market drops and PCR falls toward 0.6, options traders have loaded up on protection — that heavy put build-up often marks a support level worth watching. When PCR climbs above 1.3 through a rally, the same hedging argument flips to warning territory. Neither reading is predictive by itself; treat them as context against price action and the strategy engine's regime tags.
Regime-change alerts appear when the automated engine moves NIFTY from one market phase to another (for example range to bullish). Those are the signals most worth reading the same day, because the engine's trading strategy changes with them.
Alerts run on daily data with a one-row-per-day dedupe, so the page stays readable. They are information and research, not buy/sell advice.
